Dr. Michael Anthony

Dr. Michael Anthony is excited to have taken over as owner of Haddon Vet. He has been a life-long lover of animals and grew up outside Washington, DC in a house where there were pets of all shapes and sizes. These pets became such an important part of his childhood, that he made the decision in college to devote his life to their care and well-being. He graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude with a degree in psychology and then went to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated with honors with an emphasis in small animals.

His career has taken him across South Jersey and he has worked in general and emergency practices over Camden, Gloucester, and Ocean Counties. His career took a different turn in 2009 when he began to work at a practice that specialized in integrative medicine. He learned about chiropractic, herbal, and homeopathic medicine, and decided to pursue a certification in veterinary acupuncture. He completed his training in 2012 and has been practicing integrative medicine since. Besides acupuncture, Dr. Anthony also is proficient in chiropractic treatments, herbal medicine, and using food as medicine with an emphasis on Chinese modalities of healing. He is excited to add these treatments for the patients of Haddon Vet.

In his free time, Dr. Anthony is an avid runner, reader, and a lover of movies. He also enjoys playing soccer and all other sports with his two very active sons. He currently has six cats and a dog that also keep him busy!

Dr. Kimberly Ashford

Dr. Ashford graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 after obtaining her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College. Her areas of interest include preventative medicine, immunology, and dermatology. A lifelong learner, she is currently taking courses in Environmental Science to extend both her knowledge of and appreciation for the natural world and all the living things within it.

Dr. Lauren Stevenson

After receiving her bachelor’s in marine biology and biology from Stockton College (now Stockton University) she received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from St. George’s University. She has been in the field since she was 16 years old starting as a tech assistant, working her way up to vet technician and then becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Stevenson has worked in many practices in the Tri-state area both as an associate veterinarian as well as a relief veterinarian. She is especially interested in dermatology and behavioral medicine.

Dr. Stevenson (aka Dr. Lauren) lives in Cherry Hill, NJ with her husband Frank, dogs Shih Tzu/Jack Russel mix “Hope” and French bulldog “Chubbs”. When she’s not caring for small animals, Dr. Lauren likes to travel and stay fit lifting weights and doing kickboxing. She has had many experiences practicing veterinary medicine in countries less fortunate than our own, such as Grenada and Brazil and has worked with multiple rescues.

Dr. Lauren is very down-to-earth–which is fitting since she often examines patients down on the exam room floor. She wants her patients to feel comfortable and make the exam room as non-threatening as possible. She also wants her patient’s humans to be at ease. “My goal is to have an owner walk out with more confidence about their pet’s care by knowing their pet will be treated like family.”

Andrew is a veterinary technician at Haddon Vet who is happy to be back in South Jersey after four years away. Andrew grew up in Marlton, going to Cherokee High School before studying at Rutgers University in New Brunswick to earn his B.S. in Animal Science. He will be attending The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in the fall and hopes to practice in South Jersey someday. Andrew has two cats, Barkley and Bella, and likes to sing, play guitar, and cook in his spare time.

Christine is a receptionist and veterinary assistant at Haddon Vet.  Prior to joining the team in 2016, she had been a teacher for six years.  She and her husband had decided to share their home in Haddon Heights and their hearts with a Havanese puppy that they named Leo.  Their experiences caring for their little furry family member inspired her to join the veterinary field and dedicate herself to helping pets and the people who love them.  Her spare time is spent on family, friends, and fitness.

Vicki is a receptionist and veterinary assistant here at Haddon Vet. She went to school for medical reception but her love for animals brought her to the world of veterinary medicine in 2009. She has been a part of the Haddon family since November 2012 and so happy to have found her home here. Her favorite part about her job is being the first friendly face that our clients and our patients see when they walk through our doors! When she is not here at Haddon Vet she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young sons and their very energetic Staffordshire bull terrier puppy, Swoop. She also enjoys reading, music and cooking.

Jon has been a veterinary technician at the practice since 2004. In addition to the everyday duties of working with patients and handling lab work, he manages our hospital pharmacy and assists with surgeries. He grew up in the area and has built his life here as well. He resides locally with his wife, three sons and their energetic dog, Guinness.

Greg joined the Haddon Vet staff in 2016, bringing 14 years of experience in veterinary technical and nursing work in South Jersey to his role.  In addition to the standard duties of a technician, such as bloodwork, x-rays, patient care, and client education, he has been trained in the application of laser therapy.  He graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School and attended Camden County College, majoring in Animal Science Technology.  His wife is a professional animal groomer, and they enjoy cooking, gardening, video and tabletop gaming. They are also proud servants of their 5-year-old littermates, Argie and Germ.
